A chance to live it out. He's not entirely sure where he was born. What he does know is that Mom and Dad found him in Ul'dah, crying next to his birth parents. Thymeon and Aristania would take the six-month-old back home with them, and raise them as their own in Gridania. Their profession as fruit merchants would not bring in much gil, but they still managed to survive each day with smiles and laughter. He would do his best to play with the other children around, but kids can be cruel. He earned many a scar, physical and not, as he grew. The most damaging one came the day Dalamud fell, when he received his final hug and tussle of his hair.

Carve out a meaning. He did not hesitate to sign up for the Twin Adders, if only to feel like he could do something. They took one look at him, and sent him to the Lancer's Guild to train. The children he grew up with carried their malice with them, making it known at every opportunity. He does not talk much about these years, for he never felt the need to. They have started to come back to him, chasing his dreams away with scenes of their own.

Knowledge is power. Once his tenure with the Adders was over, he set his sights on a new goal. Hoarding every gil he could, a plot was bought, a building was constructed, a contract signed. Funded by the Syndicate, he would open up the Sultana's Wisdom, a museum dedicated to sharing knowledge to the lower class of Ul'dah. Teaching programs, tours, even commissions would help many a child learn about the wonders of Eorzea. Once that contract was up, not even the rugs would stay in the building. Funding lost, with no avenue of gil to cover it, he was forced to donate a vast majority of the books and artifacts that littered the hall. The plot was his, however, so he turned it into a home.

Now, it's your chance. One child made an impression on him during his museum days, a young Hyur teen by the name of Galena. Always asking questions, and always attentive, she by far held the record for most visits. After the museum shut down, he heard wind of her being sent to Yanxia to the orphanage there. He immediately asked her what she would like, and her answer still echoes. "I wish to stay here, where I know I have a chance." The papers were signed, and now, she spends her time studying in his home, or playing pranks on him. With the recent addition of a little fox kit by the name of Tam, he often wonders if this feeling of happiness had surged through his parents every day as it does his.
